The Gir (genus Pyrusona) is a predatory, plant like animal native to Barcon rainforests. It is found in petrade of the swift, often kept as pets. They, in nature, are highly aggressive. Though, most household girs are of the docile species, the Green Varigated gir (Pyrusona Viridis), which is smaller and covered with small, soft spines.
A massive Fliaria Gir (pyrusona Dentes) attacked Narian Crevan in the Barconia rainforest, and was going to kill him. Until Volt Janeri fried the gir with a superpulser.
